We exist at the same time, in the same place in the universe. We have the same needs, breathe the same air and share the same dreams and yet think of ourselves as separate. Maybe it is only when we leave that we realise how connected we are, in life or death, we are all part of the same.

An extra nature lesson today at the request of a blogging friend 🙂
Remember those that have left before us, not with sadness and misery but with joy and celebration. Isn’t that what they would have wanted, is that not what we want for our own children when our time comes for us to make that final journey. If we want to be remembered in happiness, we should practice it while we live, let our children know now, that happiness is okay, let it be our epitaph.

Does the flower open itself up to the universe, or is each flowers opening a communication from the universe. Think about what the opening flower is sending out into the world, wonderful colours, aroma and a vision to behold. As we open up ourselves, at whatever point we are, we act as a channel for universal love. Each opening is a gateway and opportunity for giving and receiving.

The tree stands firm with its roots securely attached to the earth. It reaches up with all its branches to the stars, even those branches that bend gently towards the earth, started their journey facing the sky. Blossoms fly from branches painting the world, fruits provide goodness and leaves fall like love and kindness to nourish the earth. The tree throughout its life, continues to reach for the stars. The pattern of the bark and circles within the trunk surly tell us something, but for now I think we should just spread ourselves widely and reach for the stars.

Once the seed of love is sown it grows into something quite magnificent. When we send out love into the world in our actions and thoughts, we are like gardeners. With each seed we sow love flourishes. The garden of love takes but a few seeds and a little care and attention along the way.

The flower in growing from the seed opens to the universe. The flower has only itself to offer to the world. The beauty of its bloom and trust in the elements to support its pathway through life. When we put aside the trappings of materialism and open up to that which is essential to our growth, such as love, trust and awareness of the self, we will be much closer to finding our true purpose.
