We plant a seed in faith and trust, we pray for sun and rain.
But once it’s sown, the deed is done we cannot plant again.
Like the blooms we have to trust, the heavens will provide.
That we receive the things we need in order to survive.
From the Heart

We plant a seed in faith and trust, we pray for sun and rain.
But once it’s sown, the deed is done we cannot plant again.
Like the blooms we have to trust, the heavens will provide.
That we receive the things we need in order to survive.

I really can’t stop writing, to cease would be a shame.
To me it feels like therapy, it’s more than just a game.
I’d love to be a writer, to fill the world with words.
Share my thoughts on love with you, move my soul onwards.
I write with such simplicity, with honesty and truth.
Because you like my simple posts, I’m so endeared to you.
I write a small child might do, with wonder and delight.
With thoughts that spring in my head, late into the night.
I’m on a writers journey, the evidence is clear.
This journey is the best I’ve had, it’s all so very dear.
In another lifetime, I might have started long ago.
An honest scribe as my guide, to teach me as I go.

The journey starts with one small thought, that belongs to you.
The time you travel all depends on things you have to do.
You will not need possessions, you don’t need to take yourself.
The trip your taking is in your mind, inside you have to delve.
It begins when you are ready, for your journey to unfold.
You won’t be going very far, just listen to what your told.
The trip is of discovery and unfolding the real you.
Close your eyes, count down from ten, you should be there by two.

The door of the heart is open, come in and take a pew.
Come tarry here and feel the love, it’s all you need to do.
Stay a while, recuperate, take nourishment you need.
.
Repair the trauma in your heart, we have to stop the bleed.
Sit a while in peace and love, quench your thirsty heart.
Push away the pain you feel and go back to the start.
When your ready, take a step and then another few.
Recognise your own brave soul, the world belongs to you.

Open yourself up to all life has to say.
Scatter the petals of your love each day.
Radiate outwards by reaching within.
As each new sun rises and each day begins.

I wear a coat of many colours, a chameleon as such.
I chop and change my outside, don’t wear the same face much.
I’ve sat on many cushions, woven through with many tales.
Comfortable just for a while, then comes my time to sail.
I wear a hat then cast it off, as like my mind I change.
Each day a new beginning, we will never have again.
Ridden on a donkey’s back, driven a new car.
Miles and miles I’ve trodden here, travelled very far.
Transitioning through lifetimes with a book of many tasks.
I am a different person now, I have so many masks.
But then to step inside of me, the makeup is the same.
There will always be an essence here, when I come back again.
So watch me very closely, as through this life I go.
We will meet again sometime, but only we will know.

You sit upon my table, you haven’t shaken hands.
Stare across the room at me as if you understand.
It’s manners I should tell you, to exchange a word or two.
As a guest in my house, it’s something you should do.
You present as if no feeling, looking cold and hard.
You need to make some changes and show me due regard.

Your glowing face is covered by the shading of the sun
I see your beauty close, is it seen by everyone
Different aspects of you, dance out of your face
Your love along with mystery, desire, wants and grace
x
Colours in your aura and your energy expands
The diamond on your wrinkled brow, you see I understand
Your heart is warm, full of love and graced with charity
Love shines through your stillness as you gaze across at me
x
Not long for you in this world now, the time is getting near
But know I love you, my special one, you’ll always be so dear
I will age behind you and my skin will wrinkle too
I’ll follow on in time you know and I will search for you.

I soar across the desert
towards the waterfall
My flight responds to instinct
I follow natures call
I spread my wings in answer
to calls from way above
My only goal the landing
when I have found my love.
x
I dive deep into the ocean
the currant drags me down
Deep into the murky depths
where real jewels can be found
I skim the wave to surf across
to treasure in my sights
The deep blue of the sea I see
and blackness of the nights
x
I scurry through the undergrowth
I jump through the tall grass
Sunlight glistens on my skin
the days they quickly pass
I jump across the muddy mound
diving deep into my den
I’ll rest a while and bide my time
Until night is here again
x
I sit high up on the balcony
watching setting suns
My time here now is very short
I think I’ve had my run
I think of all the elements
that joined me on my way
the earth and stars, sea and skies
and stories through each day

My glass has been as full as the stars up above
Twinkling with bubbles, overspilling with love.
A glass crystal flute that chimed as I clinked.
In celebration, with crosses arms I linked.
x
My glass so empty as I missed the last wish.
Cloudy and smudged with space for anguish.
My glass has been broken, just like my heart.
That shattered in pieces and fell far apart.
x
But now I have two that came here as a pair.
They match one another, no need for despair.
Both glasses half full, with room for some more.
We can sit here and sip, not gulp like before.
