From the Heart
I might be in the gutter now but I’m graduating high.
From these depths, I’m growing up and I intend to fly.
I had to hit the bottom hard, to understand my plight.
I cannot get much further down, so a bullet I will bite.
I will grow to reach my goals, stand up straight and tall.
Then when I’m big and happy, I’ll be careful not to fall.
Love is really the only answer, isn’t it obvious.

Closing my eyes
and your around me,
you surround me
and so you should.
Deep in my mind,
I feel your presence,
I feel you near me
and so I should.
I call your name
and you draw closer,
you touch my heartstrings
and so you should.
I feel your love,
it holds me always,
we’ll always own this
and so we should.

When I think about my purpose,
my purpose here is you.
I travelled here to keep you safe,
in what you have to do.
I was born to be along side you,
protect you on the way.
With open heart, to stand by you
in all you do and say.
My purpose here, tied up with love
so very deep and true.
It hurts so much inside of me,
if I ever see you blue
Souls who travelled together,
we came here with a task.
We’ve been together many times
wearing mortal masks.
So my love, my precious one,
live a life that’s full.
I’ve got your back, I’m on your side,
and always here for you.

A flower will alway brighten my mood, even dying flowers as they hold onto some of their beauty. I like nothing more than being out in nature, in a meadow, by the sea or in the countryside. I love to look at nature, particularly flowers as they talk to me and remind me that nature has it right.
It’s cloudy and grey here today in southern England, it does not call me out. But that is okay because it gives me opportunity to catch up on things, like reading lovely blogs from you lot.

The eyes are the windows of the soul,
so dive right in and see.
What lies behind the mask I wear,

The colour changes with my mood,
so come at the right time.
Green and blue and sometimes grey,
communicate my signs.
When lids are closed do not disturb,
it really wouldn’t be wise.
As I am dreaming and travelling far,
and watching with closed eyes.

I’ve been looking after my friends cat and does he like a fuss. No chance of getting anything done when he’s about! There’s cat hair everywhere, clothes, laptop keyboard and up my nose. He’s adorable I grant you, but I can’t lavish him with love every moment of the day. I love him dearly but I’m so glad my friend came back today so life can resume as it should!
