From the Heart
How far do we actually go. Do we ever really go much further than the surface, staring through murky waters, looking for answers. Are we just floating on the surface like the leaf on a pond. I suppose that would depend on if we are looking up at the tree we fell from or on to where we might be heading.

Nature teaches us there is a time for life, a time for how long things will live, from flowers, to trees there is usually an expectation. Life is not endless, there is a time to live and a time to die. Given this, every moment is precious, every day brings new possibilities. Flowers do not close because there is a cloud overhead, so why should we?

What greater treasure is there than the simplicity and beauty of nature. When we step out into nature, connect and become one with nature we have all the treasure in the world. When we focus on nature, watch the patterns, see the colours and hear the messages it teaches the natural simplicity of life. That we will continue to grow, develop, mature and know that our death will always lead to new beginnings.

Daily Prompt – Treasure
Once the seed of love is sown it grows into something quite magnificent. When we send out love into the world in our actions and thoughts, we are like gardeners. With each seed we sow love flourishes. The garden of love takes but a few seeds and a little care and attention along the way.

Each loving or kind thought that touches the heart, opens the heart, just as misery and sadness close the heart. Even when going through more difficult times, feed the heart with loving thoughts, even if these are only the kindness and love you owe to yourself. Treated with love and kindness the heart will remain open.

The flower in growing from the seed opens to the universe. The flower has only itself to offer to the world. The beauty of its bloom and trust in the elements to support its pathway through life. When we put aside the trappings of materialism and open up to that which is essential to our growth, such as love, trust and awareness of the self, we will be much closer to finding our true purpose.

Whatever our colours and style, our petals if you like. When it comes right down to it, it is the heart inside of a person that stands them out from the crowd. Our hearts are hidden to the naked eye, but visible through our actions. A beautiful heart, will always be seen by those that are tuned in.

Life isn’t always clear, sometimes we have to feel the way, delving deep to find the answers. Our basic senses, what we see, feel or hear are not always enough, we have to connect with a universal energy and understanding in order to find ourselves. The mind does not have all the answers, the roads through the mind are made of man. The pathways of the soul connect to a universal knowledge that will, if we seek, will show us the way.

Like a rose, each one of us is different. We grow in different ways, from different soil and experience. The choices we make are based on our own interpretation of life, how we see and experience the things around us. Growth is affected by experience and understanding of life events and the individual challenges we face. Each of us has magnificent potential and each of us is beautiful, we just grow in our own way, in our own time.
