Artificial- DP

Not everything of beauty is natural, some things are artificial yet created from a beautiful mind, born from inspiration to grow into something very special.

Great houses and gardens for example, those owned by the National Trust in the United Kingdom

The lakes and gardens of Sheffield Park in West Sussex were designed and created in 1700’s. The garden comes into its own in Autumn, where displays of colours from trees are reflected in the lakes.

Nature in all its glory mixes with the elements here in a landscaped garden. Trees that would not naturally grow in the area, planted around a man made lakes to make a beautiful garden.

Inspiration

I think I finally beginning to see,

just how much inspiration is coming to be.

Those flashes of nature I could easily miss,

touching my mind, as a gentle kiss.

As that big full moon, drops from the sky,

captured in frame as it passes me by.

Leaves dance in reflection on the far wall,

in the spotlight of sunshine that is early fall.

Flowers sing as they dance in the breeze,

a field of extras on a set to please.

Those moments of magic, to capture depends,

timing my eyes, the ultimate lens.

I’ve just woken up, alert is my state,

nature in pose, it’s there for the take.

Prior to this all days were as night,

everything hidden far way out of sight.

The Great Flower Show

When we first plant a flower,

our wish is that it will grow.

With nurture and love in abundance,

it’s spirit should start to show.

Ensuring that all its emotions,

are balanced with care that we give.

Giving it room to maneuver,

to spread itself out as it lives.

But what of the one in the wild woods,

trapped in among the weeds.

Fighting for its very existence,

an accident of blowing seeds.

This child of the flower kingdom,

born into a life full of tests.

Smothered by those that surround it,

in soil that’s not really the best.

Come the end of the season,

when it’s time for the great flower show.

Which one will receive adoration,

the one loved or struggling to grow.

Nature is full of examples,

of tests that are lessons to me.

When I watch as that small flower struggles,

it’s not really all that I see.
