Echo – DP

I still hear the echo of your voice,

and I defer my decisions to you.

When I’m at a crossroads in life,

I ask what you think I should do.

We still have conversations,

though it’s only me that can hear.

You know I value your opinion,

you’ve a talent for thinking clear.

What would I do without you,

probably make you up in my head.

I’m so lucky I have you with me,

I’d hate to be lonely instead.

And if it is really just an echo,

of those memories I have of you.

It is every bit as perfect like this,

as your telling me what I should do.
