Sometimes we reach our destination later than others. That does not mean it is any less of an achievement or that it does not deserve as much of a celebration. Whatever time we get there, that we did, is something to be celebrated.

I like this! When my Mum was going through a period of ill health, I said pretty much the same to her. My Dad and I took her for a trip away, and as we were walking for the train, she said she could only go slow. “Slow still gets you there, Mum” I said “And as long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you’re till going faster than those who give up”
