wat does “exchanged today ” mean? It must be an English thing. Here when you move, its the last day of the month, end of story. usually.

I remember buying a house in Canada, done and dusted in under two weeks. Here it takes months for conveyancing, exchange is when contracts are exchanged between solicitors and a completion date is agreed when I vacate and hand over keys 😊
