Little Buds of Yellowness

Little buds of yellowness,

you promise such delight.

Shiny golden starbursts,

your colours are so bright.

A branch of tiny parcels,

wrapped as if in soft silk.

Shiniest brightest yellow,

to the softer buttermilk.

Love yellow and I used buttermilk in one of my writing this morning. And I didn’t even have pancakes. We must have caught the same wavelength again. Hope you are doing well.
