Random thoughts I can’t compose,
come spilling through my mind.
Fine scattering of vague memories,
net curtains their hiding behind
Like petals dropping one by one,
letting go just to disappear.
I pray they’ll stay a moment more,
please bring my loved ones near.
I used to think it quite sensible,
owning a tidy, working mind.
But as days go on not as obvious,
in the love I’m trying to find.
