Transcript – The Daily Post

I found this when clearing my mothers home after she passed away. I can understand why she kept it. I didn’t see my dad an awful lot, I used to wait at the window for him to arrive for hours. What I find fascinating is how far out the path and garden gate go. It tells me of a child trying to reach out to her dad.

I see him a lot more as an adult, plus now we have telephones, Skype and email.
