The Journey

Over the mountains deep inside, 

I take a train that’s hard to ride.

Taking pathways through my mind,

a temple I am trying to find.

A place of solace to contemplate, 

progress made against mistakes.

The summing up of who I am, 

and future changes where I can.

And so this journey carries on, 

my ride ahead especially long.

Time now for me to make amends, 

before the time my journey ends.
